A warm welcome to Reception!

We are delighted to welcome our new children and are thoroughly enjoying getting to know them, discovering their interests, and supporting them as they learn one another’s names and begin to build new friendships.

In Reception B, the class teacher is Mrs Brophy, and in Reception P, the class teacher is Miss Pybis. Our LSAs are Mrs Welsh and Mrs Halewood, who will be supporting the children across both classes.

The school day begins at 8:40am and finishes at 3:00pm. Children in Mrs Brophy’s class should enter and leave via the Infant Playground, through the double gates opposite St Edward’s College. Children in Miss Pybis’s class will enter and exit using the ramp. For safety, we kindly ask that children remain close to you and walk with an adult while moving through these areas.

To help your child be ready for the school day, please ensure they bring the following items each day:

• A water bottle

• Their reading folder

• A school coat

Please note, the Phonics Workshop on Thursday 2nd October will take place at 2.15pm. We kindly request that attendance is limited to one adult per family.
