Investigating friction on different surfaces

A great start to our topic on rocks and soils. We were able to touch, feel and sort lots of different fossils in our workshop with Mr B

We have really enjoyed our science topic on light and shadow. We have been learning about transparent, translucent and opaque materials and how we make shadows bigger and smaller.

Some more pictures from our chat with Dr Norton as part of Women In Science Day. 🧫🥼👩‍🔬🩺

In our new science topic on Light & Shadow we have been sorting objects that we feel are sources of light and those that are not sources of light. Some great ideas shared in our lesson.

We have been studying different food labels learning what the labels and colours mean to help us understand the importance of a healthy diet.
