Year 4 have been learning about the family of God in scriptures.
The Story of Jacob
We enjoyed learning about Jacob, the son of Issac. The children created drama scenes to retell the story of Jacob.
The Story of Ruth
We learnt all about Ruth, King David’s great grandmother. We enjoyed reading the story of Ruth and listening to the song of Ruth (Wherever You Go).
The children used their new knowledge and the actions of Ruth to compose ‘A Code for Living’ that will tell people how they should live in society today.
To finish our lesson, children volunteered to take the hot seat as Ruth to explore some of the reasons for her actions.
