Pastoral Care

Runnymede St Edward's prides itself on its long tradition of outstanding behaviour and high standards of appearance amongst pupils. This continues to be achieved through sensitive pastoral care during this crucial stage of children’s physical, emotional, social and educational development. Children learn moral lessons and standards of behaviour, which will serve them well throughout their lives.

Our Safeguarding/Child Protection policy makes our duty of care to our children absolutely clear and is of paramount importance to us. All legislation is carefully followed in this area to ensure necessary prevention, protection and, where needed, provision.

At Runnymede St Edward’s we have a clear Equal Opportunities Policy. We seek to provide opportunities for all individuals to reach their potential and to value themselves and their place in society, irrespective of gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs, socio-economic background or ability range.

If you have any pastoral or safeguarding concerns please do not hesitate to contact Mrs P O'Donnell (Pastoral Mentor) or a  member of our Safeguarding team (Mr J Long, Miss K Peaston, Mrs P Minogue) to discuss.
