    Our aim is to foster a spirit of co-operation and friendship between home, school and the wider community through:

    • Encouraging parents to be involved in school activities and visits
    • Involving our school family and the wider community in Collective Worship and celebrations
    • Regular parent/teacher meetings
    • Encouraging children to support charitable causes
    • The promotion of parental involvement in attending meetings, events and performances
    • Developing citizenship through liaison with the emergency services and other groups
    • Support of Home School Partnership activities (such as Hamper Appeals, Summer Fayre, Bingo and numerous raffles) 
    • Maintaining links with other primary and secondary schools
    • Developing citizenship through liaison with police, fire and health professionals

    Throughout the academic year we strive to plan and host numerous sessions for parents/carers to be actively involved in their child's learning journey such as:

    • Online Safety Parental Workshops
    • 'It's Your Child's Life' = A collaboration to support parents/carers in maximising their child's potential
    • Mindfulness sessions for parents
    • Wellness Sessions for Parents
    • Paella Masterclass to encourage healthy eating 
    • Mystery Readers to encourage reading for pleasure
    • Reading Volunteers
    • Aspirational Career Talks such as 'Women in Science' talks/workshops
    • Educational Learning Experience Support
    • Support and dissemination of knowledge and skills in extra-curricular activities such as Chess Club
